Former Governor of Zamfara State, Alh. Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar has cautioned the National Headquarters of All Progressives Congress (APC) to respect court order to avoid loosing the state in 2023 General Election.
Abdul’aziz Yari who drew the attention of the National leadership of the Party on the order given by the Federal High of Justice Gusau, said the order has stopped any one from performing any action capable of jeopardizing the Court process on suit filed before it challenging the National Chairman of the APC Caretaker Committee and Extra Ordinary Convention Committee, Mai Mala Buni who doubled as the Governor of Yobe State for an unconstitutional dissolution of Zamfara Caretakers Committee.
Abdulaziz Yari, an immediate past Chairman, Nigeria Governors Forum advised the Party’s National Leadership to obey the Court Order with a view to avoiding similar calamity that befallen the Party in the State when the Supreme Court voided its victory in the 2019 General Elections due to some technicalities.
Yari who addressed journalists in Abuja, shortly after a stakeholders meeting with top pillars of his camp noted that, APC should respect the judiciary and do the needful to avoid embracement.
Yari’s Camp has agreed to a 50/50 sharing formula on both Party and Government Positions with Governor Bello Mohammed Matawallen Maradun, the new entrant.
