“We are very much aware of what is going on in Zamfara, there are certain wrong holes credited to some leaders in Zamfara State that were unfortunate, we are not happy with them, I’m here on behalf of the party to clear the air on the purported registration exercise of our teaming members” He Bursted
The Zonal Secretary added that, “I want to make it clear to them that, at no time National Caretaker Committee of the party took a decision to effected that, registered members of the party should revalidate” Abdulkadir Explained
According to him, the Word Revalidate was inserted in the letter by Senator John Akpanudoedehe for reasons best known to him.
He therefore challenged him to check the party’s constitution to know the implications of his action as the insertion is against the constitution and he is on his own the Party is not with him as what he did is illegal.
Early Speaking, the Chairman Caretaker committee of the party, Lawal M. Liman said over 770,000 members of the Party have successfully registered, He quoted sections of the party’s constitution which restrained anyone to invalidate membership registration of any member except if the member decided to change party or accept appointment from opposition or them as prescribed therein.
He expressed dismay over the controversial comment made by senator Yarima who said, the National Secretary invalidated all membership Registration in Zamfara State which the chairman described as an attempt to throw the party in crises as he did in the 2019 general election.
