The Niger state Commissioner for Information and Strategy Alh Muhammad Sani Idris who was kidnapped last week has regain freedom.
The Smarts News has reliably gathered that, the Commissioner was released at about 9:30pm, Thursday as contained in a statement signed by a family member Ado Ada in Minna.
Malam Ado Ada who issued the Statement on behalf of the family expressed gratitude to Allah for the safe return of the Commissioner, saying that his release is wholly a family effort and that no ransom was paid.
He said the Commissioner has been reunite with his family after medical examination
The Niger state Commissioner for Information and Strategy Alh Muhammad Sani Idris has in a video which went viral on new media after his release, said that the Bandits who abducted him were from Zamfara state and they didn’t even know his village in Niger state but were sponsored to abduct him.
According to him they were told to kill him if he fail to give them two hundred million naira ransom though he said he had forgiven those that masterminds his abduction and the abductors.
It could be recalled that suspected armed Bandits Stormed the House of the Commissioner at Babban Tunga Village of Tafa Local Government Area of Niger state and whisked him away on foot to an unknown location. (FRCN)
