Ranar Ashura tana da dadadden tarihi kasancewar ita ce ranar da Allah ya tsirar da Annabi Musa alaihis salam ya halaka Fir’auna. Azumin ranar yana cikin Shari’ar Annabi Ibrahim da Annabi Isma’il alaihimas salam.
Quraishawa a Makka sun kasance suna girmama wannan ranar kuma a cikin ta ne suke canja rigar Ka’aba. Haka su ma Yahudawan Madina suna girmama ranar; suna yin azuminta.

Sunnah a Ranar Ashura:
Hadisai da yawa sun tabbata daga Manzon Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam da suke nuna yin azumin wannan rana da falalarsa. Zamu takaita a kan Hadisai biyu:

  1. Hadisin Bukhari da Muslim daga Nana A’isha radhiyallahu anha cewa: “Quraishawa sun kasance suna azumin ranar Ashura a cikin Jahiliyyah. Annabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam shi ma ya kasance yana azumtar sa kafin Musulunci. A lokacin da ya zo Madina sai ya ci gaba da azuminsa kuma ya yi umurni Musulmi su yi. A lokacin da aka farlanta azumin Ramadhan sai ya bar azumin Ashura; don haka wanda yake so ya azumce shi, wanda yake so ya bari”.
  2. Hadisin Muslim daga Abu Qatadah Al-Ansáriy radhiyallahu anhu: An tambayi Annabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam game da azumin Ashura, sai ya ce: “Yana kankare (zunubin) shekarar da ta gabata.

Haka kuma ya tabbata a Sahihu Muslim daga Ibnu Abbas radhiyallahu anhu cewa, Annabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam ya yi azamar yin azumin tasu’a a tare da Ashura a shekararsa ta karshe don ya bambanta azuminsa da na Yahudawa amma Allah bai tsawaita rayuwarsa ya yi hakan ba.

Ayyukan Bidi’a a Wannan Rana:
Shaihun Musulunci Ibnu Taimiyyah rahimahullah ya ce: “Shaidan ya yi amfani da kisan Husaini radhiyallahu anhu ya haifar da bidi’oi guda biyu:
Bidi’a ta Farko: Bayyana bakin ciki da kuka a ranar Ashura tare da marin fuska da hargowa ko zama da kishiruwa da rera wakoki. Daga nan kuma sai zagin magabata da tsine masu, da hargitsa masu laifi da marasa laifi ana ta zagin magabatan farko, ana karanto labarin yadda ake kashe Husaini; wanda an shigar da karya mai yawa a ciki. Kuma babban muradin masu yin wannan shi ne su haifar da fitina su tarwatsa al’umma, alhalin duk Musulmi sun hadu akan cewa yin wannan makokin ba wajibi ba ne, ba kuma mustahabbi ba. A’a, laifi ne ma daga cikin mafi girman abinda Allah da Manzo ya haramta a tona tsohuwar musiba ana jininin ta, ana nuna raki akan faruwar ta”.

Bidi’a ta biyu: “Sai kuma sauran abubuwan da ake yi kamar yin abinci mai yawa ko sabunta tufafi ko yalwata ma iyali ko sayen duk kayan da ake bukata na wannan shekarar a wannan ranar ta Ashura, ko kuma kebe wannan ranar da wata ibada (ba azumi ba) kamar Sallah ko yanka ko ajiye naman layya har wannan rana don a hada shi da abincin wannan ranar a dafa ko kuma yin ado da shafa kwalli ko daura lalle, ko ma yin wanka da gaggaisawa da mutane ko ziyarce ziyarce ko ziyarar masallatai da manyan wurare da makamantan haka. Duk wadannan bidi’oi ne munana wadannan Annabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam bai yi su ba, haka ma halifofinsa shiryayyu. Ba a kuma samu ko mutum daya daga cikin jagororin musulunci kamar irin su Imam Malik da Thauri da Laith bn Sa’ad da Abu Hanifa da Auzá’i da Shàfi’i da Ahmad bn Hambal da Ishaq bn Ráhawaihi da iren iren su. Ba a samu ko daya daga cikin irinsu wanda ya yi wannan ba”.
