Five days after a group of terrorists affiliated to Boko Haram eliminated 24 fighters of the Islamic State of West Africa Province, ISWAP at Mandra and Gaba Mountains in Gwoza town, Borno State, 84 more terrorists died in another brutal fight.
The fight erupted on Tuesday, intelligence sources said.
According to a PRNigeria report, ISWAP terrorists launched a reprisal attack at the camp of the commander of Boko Haram, Bakoura Modou, in Lake Chad axis.
The report said the ISWAP fighters stormed Mr Modou’s Lake Chad camp in about 50 local speed boats.
“More than 87 ISWAP jihadists were killed in the clash,” the source said.
