The Nigeria Police Force Zamfara State Command has commissioned a 10 Bed Capacity Clinic in 42 Police Mobile Force, PMF, Squadron Gusau.
In a remarks by the Commanding Officer, 42 PMF, ACP Murtala A Minjibir said the Clinic was established to ease medical treatments for Police, Security agencies and general public.
According to him the state government has supported the Police in the construction of the Clinic and 7 Health personnel in addition to the 2 Police Health personnel attached to the clinic.
On his Part, Commissioner of Police, CP Ayuba Elkana said the Clinic which was open to General Public will support the Police in easy access to Health facility and demonstrate the Command’s commitment to support people in the State beside providing security for them and thanked the state government for its determination to ensure welfare of police.
Speaking while Commissioning the Clinic on behalf of the State Government, the Ag. Governor of Zamfara State who double as the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya said the State government will Continue to support security agencies in the state to discharge their duties effectively.
The Clinic has 8 units to includes Consulting Room, Maternity, Laboratory, Female and Male Wards, Pharmacy, Health information Unit, Amenity and General Out Patient Department, GOPD, equipped with Furniture, electricity and Water Supply.
The Commissioning Ceremony was attended by top Police and Government officials, Legislatures among other dignitaries.
