Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Zamfara State Command has tactically arrested two suspected Bandits and cattle rustler while trying to escape from the State.
This was revealed by the Public Relations Officer of the NSCDC, DSC Ikor Oche in a statement he issued in Gusau.
According to him, the State Commandant, Commandant A A Sparks, explained that One Turku Halilu’ m’ age, 27yrs was trailed and arrested by the officers of the NSCDC Zamfara State Command while he was trying to escape to Niger state, saying the suspect hails from Gabaro village of Nahuche District in Bungudu Local Government Area of the state.
DSC Ikor noted that, the suspect is currently facing interrogations for cattle rustling and banditry related activities.
Similarly, on the 27th December 2021, the Corps trailed and arrested one Husaini Altine ‘ M’ aged 40years while he was trying to escape to Taraba State .
He was arrested alongside his elder brother Abubakar Altine and their aged mother at the Zamfara State Mass Transit park in Gusau.
However, Husaini Altine ‘M ‘ has confessed to the crime of banditry and kidnapping after a cross examination by the Corps.
Hussaini hails from Agama lafiya village of Rijiya District in Gusau local Government Area of the State.
The duo will be arraigned before a competent court of jurisdiction when the investigations are concluded.
