Supporters of Chairmanship aspirants of All Progressives Congress (APC) were sighted groaning as their principals stepped down as requested by President Muhammadu Buhari.

They were seen trooping out of the convention venue moving back to their various States.

According to a report published by Blueprint Newspapers said, the six chairmanship aspirants contesting against the endorsed candidate of President Muhammadu Buhari as the next APC national chairman have all stepped down.

The coast is now clear for the emergence of Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the next national chairman.

A letter signed on behalf of the aspirants by Senator George Akume, indicated that alignment with President Buhari’s endorsement.
