In continuation with his national assignment as Subcommittee Chairman on Venue and site servicing for the forthcoming APC Primaries, the Zamfara State Governor, Bello Mohammed Matawalle, did not sit down, rather was visibly and physically seen inspecting the progress of works going on at the Eagle Square, Abuja, the venue for the Primary election/national convention.

Governor Bello Matawalle alongside his committee members with other subcommittees went around the venue’s nook and cranny to ensure the best of services offered to the delegates, VIPs, and other party stakeholders that will gather during the convention for the Presidential primary election.

The National Conference Centre is designated for the accreditation of delegates. The old parade ground was also visited and inspected which is also going to be used during the activities of the primaries. This is inline with the desire of the Governor to ensure that the venue arrangement is made to a high taste and quality.

He called on those working in the Venue to ensure strict adherence to specifications to avoid poor preparation of the venue.

Like his previous inspection of the venue, Matawalle further inspected all the entry and emergency exits.

The Public Address systems were tasted to ensure all the Pacthbays, cable connections and configurations are in proper positions.

The delegates’ seating arrangement was reassessed where the managers of the venue were further instructed to work round the clock and ensure that all the observations raised are adequately taken care of.

The site services include among others ensuring provision of adequate packing spaces for all the VIPs and other party stalwarts.

Other services are electricity supply and lightning which were all assessed by the Governor.

Similarly, Governor Matawalle instructed that the entire environ has to be kept clean as he would not accept anything less than high standard and excellent quality in the arrangement of the Venue.

The Chairman was accompanied during the visit by the Secretary of the Sub-Committee, Hajia Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma, former APC National Women Leader.
